Donald Glover AKA “Childish Gambino” is the man! 2017 has already shaped up to be the year for him thanks to multiple Golden Globes for his hit television series, Atlanta and his upcoming role in Star Wars’ Han Solo movie.
Besides his career being on the up and up his wardrobe is too; as recently he appeared in Wired Magazine wearing a $53K Gucci Mink Fur Coat!
The Atlanta star was spotted wearing a $53,000 Gucci flower intarsia mink fur coat, Ksubi jeans, and a white Cos button up top, styled by his longtime stylist Olori Swank.
The Gucci flower intarsia mink fur coat is a long mink fur coat in natural black with hand-applied flowers. The intarsia is an intricate process that inserts separate colored pieces of mink to form the full pattern. It takes approximately 110 hours to complete. The inside of the coat is enhanced by an embroidered tiger, a recurring theme in Alessandro Michele’s collections, here the tiger is shown with the evolved “Blind for Love.”
Outside of his fashion, Glover also opens up to Wired magazine about music. In the article, Donald Glover talks about how kids today do not truly appreciate music and/or concerts. After holding a concert that sold out in six minutes, Glover added two more shows to accommodate his fans. However, there was one catch…. Phones had to be surrendered before entering. The goal was to have fans actually appreciate the moment.
“Today, kids’ idea of going to a concert is proving that they are there on Snapchat or Instagram. We wanted to give them a complete show and have their attention.”
