Normani Kordei is a singer originally from Atlanta, Georgia who is a member of the girl group, Fifth Harmony.

Her sweet and humble personality adds to why she has remained such a successful performer in recent years. Kordei has been singing and dancing since the age of four and although she has had an early start in the field of music, she doesn’t allow that to steal away from her ability to remain humble in the midst of all the excitement and success. Kontrol truly enjoyed discovering more about the life of the young singer and was excited to find out that she will be appearing on the hit TV series, ‘Dancing With the Stars.’

“Dancing with the Stars has been an incredible experience. Honestly I feel like I have grown in the last three weeks. I really have the best partner and he has been really encouraging me, and allowing me to see the beauty in me and what I have to offer. Growing up, I didn’t really believe in myself the most, especially since I started out at such a young age. Having people judge you in every little thing you do, even as a teenager and experiencing life for itself can be tough. He’s helping me to realize that it’s okay to be vulnerable, like don’t keep it all to yourself, so I really thank him for that, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of the season with him. The cast has really become a family and learning all of the dances and genres has really been cool.”

This Is Gonna Be Good! Usher (@Usher) Casts On “Dancing With The Stars! (@DancingABC)”

We think we will be watching the next season of Dancing With The Stars! Why? Because allegedly R&B sensation, Usher, will be a part of Season 24’s cast! Yep, Mr. Raymond might be showing off his already amazing dance skills to millions! Interestingly, the producers of the show are trying to keep his involvement under wraps.

The producers and network are keeping it top secret, but this is major! They wanted an A-lister and he’s one of the biggest names in the industry. Not to mention, Usher is an amazing dancer.

Dancing with the Stars is an dance competition TV series that premiered on June 1, 2005, on ABC. The show is the American version of the British television series Strictly Come Dancing. The format of the show consists of a celebrity paired with a professional dancer. Each couple performs predetermined dances and competes against the others for judges’ points and audience votes. The couple receiving the lowest combined total of judges’ points and audience votes is eliminated each week until only the champion dance pair remains.

Olympic medalist Ryan Lochte has not exactly been one of America’s sweethearts lately. Since the swimmer returned from the Rio Olympics this summer, he has been trying to clean up his image. Since the scandal in Rio, Ryan has apologized for his actions repeatedly. Ryan has also joined the cast of Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) in hopes to show the world that he is actually one of the good guys. Unfortunately, not everyone was here for Lochte’s new clean cut image.

On last night’s live season premiere of Dancing With The Stars, protesters of Ryan Lochte decided to make a show of their own. Ryan and his partner Cheryl Burke had just finished their foxtrot and were standing on stage awaiting their critiques from the judges. All of a sudden a ruckus started brewing in the audience. According to witnesses, two men wearing t-shirts with a “no Lochte” symbol rushed the stage in Lochte’s direction. The two men were tackled by security and escorted out immediately. The protesting duo was later arrested for criminal trespassing.

Julianne Hough (@juliannehough) Quits ‘Dancing with the Stars’

27-year old actress and dancer Julianne Hough announced that she will be taking a break from the glitz and glamour of the dancing competition show “Dancing with the Stars” and will not be returning for its 22nd season which is set to return on March 21.

She said:
“I promise it’s not the last you’ll see of me in the ballroom. I will miss being on the panel for season 22, but I have a lot of exciting stuff coming that I look forward to sharing.”

Julianne’s departure may not be permanent as show bosses are keen to see the star “back in the ballroom” in the future. Producer Rob Wade told Us Weekly: “Julianne will always be a part of the ‘Dancing with the Stars‘ family and we hope to see her back in the ballroom in the future.”

The Star & Her “Husband-ger!” Tamar (@TamarBraxtonHer) & Vince Return for a New Season!

When it comes to power couples, Tamar Braxton and her “husband-ger,” (husband + manager), are top tier! When we first met them Tamar was a reality star/backup dancer with dreams of super stardom and her husband was the manager of a number of amazing acts. Flash forward to present day and we see Tamar is on top and is now one of the amazing acts of managed by her husband. Now they are back for the fourth season of their hit reality series Tamar & Vince! Unsurprisingly, this season is a heavy one as it details many of the couples ups and downs, especially when it comes to Tamar’s health. As you may recall Tamar was a contestant on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars until she had to quit due to health issues. Apparently, this season will show us what really happened. However, if we have to guess it would probably be due to exhaustion. Stars have a tendency of overbooking themselves and putting their health on the back burner. We can definitely appreciate Tamar’s drive, but we would rather see her alive and well instead. Thankfully, Tamar and Vince seem in sync this season. He appears to be the loving and supporting husband, whereas in past seasons of the show and its parent show, Braxton Family Values, they were at each others’ throats. Well kudos to Tamar and her amazing hubby! We will be tuning on December 10th at 9 PM EST on WE TV. Will you?

Michael Sam (@MichaelSamNFL) joins ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars! (@DancingABC)”

Michael Sam is back in the media but this time it is not about his sexuality or not even about football. We just got word that the former 7th round draft pick of the 2014 NFL Draft will reportedly be a contestant on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars.

It has been a long and tough journey for Michael Sam with the controversy that surrounded him being a homosexual man playing in a very macho-man dominated sport. After being cut from the St. Louis Rams after the preseason (the team that drafted him) and being cut from the practice squad of the Dallas Cowboys, the journey seems to be getting a little tougher. Sam revealed earlier this month that he would participate in the first ever NFL Veterans combine but now hearing that he is reportedly appearing on the 20th of season of Dancing With The Stars, is his mindset 100% on football anymore?

Any-who, the reports come from TMZ Sports that Sam allegedly agreed to partake in the new season but no word from the network on the allegations. The season of DWTS is set to start next month so we shall see pretty soon how valid these allegations are.
