[Video] “Baywatch” (@Baywatch_Movie) Coming To A Theater Near You!

The popular 90’s drama “Baywatch” is making a comeback. Get ready for all the sun, sand, and glistening hot bodies running in slow motion. This time around those barely there red swimsuits won’t be appearing on our screens in prime time; instead, we will be watching those gorgeous lifeguards on the big screen.

That’s right, a remake of the hit television show that starred David Hasselhoff is headed to theaters in May of 2017. It looks as though things in the Bay have changed a bit since the last time we saw it. The remake will star Dwayne Johnson as Mitch and instead of drama the remake will be geared more towards comedy. The plot of the movie will follow Mitch as he and a new recruit cross paths and butt heads. The two will somehow discover a criminal plot taking place on their beach and will work together to save the future of the bay.

Zac Efron’s breakthrough role came in 2006 when he first appeared in the teen musical film “High School Musical” which starred Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman. The film’s soundtrack was certified quadruple platinum by the RIAA making it one of the best-selling albums of the year in the United States. Zac went on to reprise his original role as Troy Bolton in the following High School Musical films. He followed this with the commercially successful comedy film “17 Again” about a 37-year-old man played by Matthew Perry who is transformed into his 17-year-old self (played by Efron) after a chance accident.

It’s all laughs and war in the hit sequel to 2014’s Neighbors! Mac (Seth Brogen) and Kelly Radner (Rose Byrne) are expecting their second daughter and ready to move to a roomier house in suburbia. They finally find a couple who wants the house, but it is placed on escrow (the explanation of which is hilarious) for thirty days before being sold. All seems well until an independent sorority, “Kappa Nu,” founded by Morgan (Chloe Grace Moretz) and her two friends who just want to be able to have fun and party without the harassment of frat boys. Not wanting to spook the buyers, The Radners’ reasoning and the girls’ determination to party soon cause a prank war of the ages!

The girls, however, may have the edge as they are being backed by Teddy (Zac Efron), who is currently feeling undervalued and unappreciated by the people in his life. Get ready to laugh so hard you can’t breathe and cry so hard your eyes get red! Summer is almost here and what better way to kick it off with than a movie that delivers the laughs!
