Hill Harper creates new skincare line after surviving Cancer!

Hill Harper is more than just an award-winning actor, he has penned three New York Times best-selling books, Letters to a Young Brother, Letters to a Young Sister, and The Conversation. Hill Harper, is opening up about his health scare, back in 2010, Harper was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. In a recent interview, Harper discussed his cancer diagnosis, what scared him, and his new skincare company.

“I was shooting a movie in Atlanta; shooting with Tyler Perry, and I woke up one morning, I couldn’t swallow and I knew I wasn’t sick. So I called a buddy of his who was a doctor in Atlanta and said, ‘You know I think something is wrong and I’m not sure what.’ He said ‘Come on in’ and next thing I know, later that afternoon I’m sitting on a table with 16-needles sticking into my neck with an ultrasound guiding them, extracting fluid. I come back a week later they tell me ‘You have cancer and you should get surgery on your thyroid and get it removed, get a Thyroidectomy as soon as possible.’

So the first thing I did was a sugar scrub–a lemon sugar scrub–so I literally started mixing things up…I was on a mission to fix my face, my body emotionally and physically and came up with a recipe. Once I perfected it on me I tried it on other people–my friends and family –then it worked on them and it went from there.”

Keys appeared on the Today Show to talk about why she stopped wearing makeup and her new music. During the interview, Hall was so inspired by Keys’ decision to go without makeup that she decided to join the liberating experience. It was such a freeing experience that co-anchors Billy Bush and Al Roker joined in.

Born in Los Angeles, California, Kofi Siriboe is of Ghanian descent. His brothers Kwame Boateng and Kwesi Boakye are also actors who have had starring and voice over roles in films such as “I Can Do Bad All By Myself”, “The Amazing World of Gumball”, “Special Agent Oso” and “Murder in the First”.

Kofi’s film debut came with the 2008 comedy drama “The Longshots” which starred Keke Palmer and Ice Cube. In 2011, Kofi followed that up with a role in “Prom”, “Whiplash” in 2014 and “Straight Outta Compton” the following year. Outside of acting, Kofi has worked as a model under the umbrella of Wilhelmina Models, one of the top modeling agencies in the game and we can defintitely see why Wilhelmina signed Kofi. He has a tall and slender built with smooth mocha colored skin and an award-winning smile. Seriously Colgate, give that man an endorsement deal.

This is my ex-girlfriend. So, I kind of try to cover her face up with some shading; but, people still know.
