Manchester Arena in England was shaken by an explosion at the end of a performance by the pop star Ariana Grande on Monday night. At least 22 people, including children, were killed and 59 others wounded in an explosion around 10:35 p.m. on Monday in the foyer outside the main hall of the arena. The police said they were treating the case “as a terrorist incident.” They believe the blast came from a man who set off an “improvised explosive device” and who died in the explosion.

It has definitely been a wild ride these last few months with the cast (s) of About Him! Last summer this talented group of young men took the nation by storm with a story that brought to the forefront the pain and pleasure of young Black gay men coming of age. As you already know, one of them was Rico Pruitt, who starred as “Justin,” on the hit web series, and later in About Justin. We were already enamored with Brandon Karson and Gary Lavard on screen, but adding Rico into the mix was liking adding a little extra spice to make the show “extra nice!”
However, all things come to an end eventually; and from the looks of it Rico has decided to end his relationship with Signal 23 TV! The popular web star took to Facebook and Instagram announcing not only his departure from About Justin, but the company as well. Check out his post below:
Signal 23 TV declined to comment. We are surprised to see Rico and Signal 23 TV are parting ways, but this is not unheard of. As you recall other original About Him stars, Brandon Karson (Damien) and Rahim Brazil (Kendall) parted ways with the company in December of last year. Rico is a good friend to our site and we definitely wish all parties involved the best of luck in their future endeavors.

There has been no official announcement yet, but reports are coming in from social media, members of his congregation, and namely his former Minister of Music, Byron Cage. Byron tweeted the following below.

There has been a report on Channel 2 Action News, and reports are coming in from social media, members of his congregation, and namely his former Minister of Music, Byron Cage. Byron tweeted the following below.
As you may already know Bishop Long was the pastor of megachurch, New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. He was known for years for his large congregation, affluence, and powerful sermons of hope and love throughout the metro-Atlanta area. In recent years he was embroiled by controversy, namely allegations of sexual misconduct. In the last year, however, it was his dramatic weight loss that caught national news. Originally, Bishop explained his weight loss was attributed to a raw, vegan diet; and later a still as of yet unexplained illness. Then homophobic pastor, Kim Burrell, alleged his weight loss was due to engaging in a homosexual lifestyle. He died from an aggressive form of cancer.
Whatever anyone’s personal feelings are about Bishop Long he was still a man and a human being. We will be praying for his family and congregation during this tragic time. Feel free to leave your comments and APPROPRIATE condolences below.

Jolie-Pitt filed legal docs Monday citing irreconcilable differences, according to TMZ. The gossip site reported that sources connected with the couple said … Angelina’s decision to file has to do with the way Brad was parenting the children … she was extremely upset with his methods.

“Our sources say, Angelina became “fed up” with Brad’s consumption of weed and possibly alcohol, and mixed with what she believes is “an anger problem” … felt it became dangerous for the children.”
She asked for physical custody of the couple’s shared six children – Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox – asking for Pitt to be granted visitation, the outlet said, citing legal documents.
An attorney for Jolie Pitt, Robert Offer, told the Associated Press that she has filed for the dissolution of the marriage. Offer said the decision was made “for the health of the family.”

This is a dark day for reality star, Toya Wright, news has just broke that two of her brothers, Rudy and Josh, were shot and killed in the Seventh Ward of New Orleans! Toya, naturally, is deeply devastated. As you recall both of her brothers have appeared on her numerous reality shows and she and Rudy in particular were very close.
The gossip site, Fameolous, broke the news at about 4 AM EST. There are no details at this surrounding the murders, but the Seventh Ward of New Orleans is by far one of the most crime ridden and dangerous places in the nation.

It is never a good thing when any celebrity is under investigation by the Department of Family & Children Services, better known as DFCS (infamously pronounced “dee-fax”)! Apparently, rapper and actor, Christopher “Ludacris” Bridges is under investigation for child abuse after a complaint was filed against him. The rapper has accused his child’s mother of filing a false complaint against him in retaliation for him being awarded full custody of their daughter in 2015.

Apparently, rapper and actor, Christopher “Ludacris” Bridges is under investigation for child abuse after a complaint was filed against him. The rapper has accused his child’s mother of filing a false complaint against him in retaliation for him being awarded full custody of their daughter in 2015.
As you recall, Tamika Fuller, the child’s mother lost primary custody of their daughter after a nasty and lengthy court battle. Here’s the latest: Then on July 6th, Ludacris headed to court and filed an application for contempt and request for a restraining order and sanctions against Tamika. The rapper explains since the judge came back with his order in early 2015, Tamika has attempted to ignore the order and usurp his custodial rights by making decisions for their minor child, which she has no authority to do. He says he has tried to work out the issues but Tamika refused to follow the court order.
Ludacris points out that Tamika continuously drops off their child at daycare on Fridays – when he decided to have private tutoring for their child on Fridays. He claims that she keeps disregarding the doctor he choose and going to other physicians and violating the order by taking unscheduled and unannounced visitation time at the daycare even when asked by the staff not to come. Luda says that she has leaked private emails to the media for her own publicity and to portray Ludacris in a false, negative light and even choose to start a GoFundMe account in an attempt to profit off their child, which was against the court order.
He accuses his baby mama of sending pictures of their kid to gossip sites and even penned an ‘essay’ which was rife with false criticisms of the court and Luda.
The last straw came when Luda says Tamika contacted the Department of Family and Children Services and filed a false report against him based on their kid having a common rash. He says she was informed by Luda that a doctor had already seen the rash and she was prescribed an ointment.
Luda claims that on May 19th 2016, the department contacted him and said pursuant to department protocol, his parenting time with his kid was suspended. He says his baby mama must be stopped from filing false and malicious reports of child abuse.
He is demanding the court order Tamika to follow the original order, find her in contempt of court and sanctioned for her actions along with order her to pay attorney fees and litigation expenses.
One of the writers on staff works is also a social worker and works for DFCS. He explains that just because there is an allegation of child abuse made nothing will be done unless there is evidence, imminent danger, or immediate danger to the child. By policy, any allegation, true or false, reported to the Department must be investigated by Child Protective Services (CPS), the branch of the DFCS that acts as first contact for these situations. We hope this is all untrue, and since people who report these complaints can remain anonymous we doubt we will find out who sent it. We will, however, keep you posted. UPDATE: A source close to the cast of LHHATL, in particular, Karen “KK” King, has stated the growing rumors of the cast’s termination is false. Apparently, they have not even filmed the reunion special, and The Kings have already been invited back for another season. This is all somewhat good news. Still, the show needs to trim the fat. As aforementioned in this article we mentioned a few “stale” cast members that need to go! Let’s add Yung Joc to that roster as well.
We are definitely hoping this is not true, but the blogosphere is buzzing, and the rumor mill is churning out news that the entire cast ofLove & Hip-Hop Atlanta has been fired thanks to their antics during the latest reunion. When we say ENTIRE CAST we mean EVERYONE, including fan favorites Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez! Apparently, the cast really upped their usual level of “ratchet-ness” and the VH-1 feels it is time to clear the table and start with a new cast.
